It doesn't matter whether you have an old site or none. I don't build online shops.
Four steps
You fill in the form
A few questions about your business. It takes a couple of minutes.
You get a site to look at
I build the first version, with a home page and subpages, and send you a link. It's a working site, not a picture. You can click through it on your phone and your computer. It costs you nothing.
You decide
If you like it, I revise it to your comments and launch it on your domain. If you don't, you just don't reply. You haven't signed anything.
I keep looking after it
The site runs and I take care of the rest. You run your business.
What care includes
Hosting
The site runs on my server. You don't open any accounts and you don't pay anyone but me.
Updates and security
I keep the site up to date, secured and fast. You won't get an email saying something needs renewing or patching.
An hour of changes every month
A new subpage, new photos, a fix in your offer. You write what to change and I do it. One hour a month is included.
A reply within 8 hours
Contact is by email. I reply within 8 hours.
Some things you change yourself
What changes often, such as news, a price list or a class schedule, you can edit yourself without writing to me. We agree at the start what that should be.
One person, start to finish.
I'm Mateusz Tylec, and Inline Software is just me. You write to the person who builds your site and then looks after it.
Inline Software is new and has no client list yet. That's why the first version is free: you don't have to take my word for it, you judge the finished site.
Questions
Why is the first version free?
Because I'd rather show you a finished site than persuade you with a proposal. The first version takes me little time, so I can afford to.
How soon will I get my version?
It depends on how many requests are waiting. After you send the form I reply within 8 hours with a date.
Why is contact by email only?
Because email leaves a record. You can see what you asked for and what was done, and nothing gets lost after a phone call. I reply within 8 hours.
What fits in the hour of changes?
For example: adding a new service to your offer, replacing a few photos, a new subpage from text you provide, fixing opening hours in several places.
Who owns the domain?
You do. It's registered in your name and stays yours, also after we stop working together.
What if I want to leave?
After the first 6 months you cancel with one month's notice. You get the code of your site. It can be run elsewhere, but that takes a developer and some features may need adapting.
Do you build online shops?
No. I build company sites: who you are, what you offer, how to reach you.
